A contract employee was killed in a freak accident within the GDK-11 incline underground coal mine of the Singareni Collieries Firm Restricted (SCCL)’s RG-I Space in Godavarikhani of Peddapalli district round Thursday midnight.
The deceased was recognized as Krishna Murari, 40, a contract employee of a personal mining providers agency deployed within the steady miner panel within the underground coal mine.
He hailed from Madikonda in Hanamkonda district.
Krishna Murari died on the spot when a portion of the facet wall collapsed on him whereas engaged on the continual miner panel late on Thursday evening, sources mentioned.
The Godavarikhani two-town police have registered a case and are investigating.
