Union Minister to put stone for Tribal College in A.P. on Friday

Union Minister for Training and Talent Growth Dharmendra Pradhan will lay the inspiration stone for Central Tribal College within the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at Mentada, and Dattirajeru mandals of Saluru constituency, Vizianagaram district on Friday.

The college shall be constructed in an space of 561.88 acres at an estimated value of ₹834 crore, in response to a press launch by the Info and Public Relations (I&PR) division. 

The State authorities has taken up land acquisition in Marrivalasa of Dattirajeru mandal and Chinamedapalli of Mentada mandal along with allocating the federal government land. The authorities paid a compensation of ₹25.90 crore to the farmers who’ve given their lands to the college, and likewise spent one other ₹28.49 crore for infrastructure services.

Central Tribal College provides 14 educational programs in English, Sociology, Tribal Research, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Journalism, MBA, MSW at Postgraduate degree, Synthetic Intelligence, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Tourism and Journey Administration, B.Com in Vocational and so on. at diploma degree and quick time period programs in Talent Growth, Vocational and job-oriented programs.

The college will realise the dream of upper schooling of the tribals and promote the private, cultural and environmental growth of the tribes, the discharge mentioned.

The federal government has been conducting lessons on the transit campus, Andhra College previous PG campus buildings, Kondakarakam, Vizianagaram district. At the moment 385 college students are learning there.
