The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Tuesday launched the ‘Balaji Baggage Administration System’ for fast and hassle-free transportation of devotees’ baggage from Tirupati to Tirumala.
TTD Government Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy on Tuesday stated that the transfer was a part of the TTD’s efforts to automate and digitise baggage administration techniques.
Beneath the system, darshan tickets might be scanned and routinely saved together with the small print of baggage and cell phones. A receipt is generated and offered to the devotees together with a QR code which upon manufacturing at baggage counters allows them fast retrieval of their luggage.
