Three extra fishermen from Nagapattinam district had been allegedly attacked and robbed of their belongings, by a gaggle of unidentified individuals mid-sea, late on Tuesday. August 22, 2023, whereas they had been fishing a number of nautical miles away from the Kodiyakkarai coast.
