An alleged Pakistan spy, who’s a resident of Bihar, was arrested from Kolkata and delicate paperwork have been seized from his possession, a senior police officer stated on Saturday.
Appearing on a tip-off, Kolkata Police personnel nabbed the person from his residence in Howrah on Friday.
“He was discovered straight concerned in actions prejudicial to the protection of the nation,” the officer stated.
The person was arrested late on Friday evening after hours of grilling, he stated.
“Secret data within the type of pictures, movies and on-line chats have been present in his cell phone. These have been despatched by him to a suspected intelligence operative of Pakistan,” the officer stated.
The accused individual, who was working with a courier service firm in Kolkata, earlier stayed in Delhi.
