Kareena Kapoor Khan in ‘Jaane Jaan’
Netflix India on Friday introduced the title and launch date of Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming thriller starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. The movie, titled Jaane Jaan, will mark Kapoor Khan’s OTT debut.
Jaane Jaan is an official Hindi adaptation of Japanese writer Keigo Higashino’s bestselling thriller novel Devotion of Suspect X. The movie’s story is about in Kalimpong in northern West Bengal.
Avik Mukhopadhyay (Pink, Sardar Udham) has shot the movie.
Speaking in regards to the film, Ghosh shared in an announcement, “Jaane Jaan is predicated on the e book which has been the love of my life for an extended very long time. From the day I learn Devotion of Suspect X, I needed to adapt it into a movie. It was probably the most superb love story I had ever learn and right now because of Kareena, Jaideep and Vijay that story is alive on display. All of us labored very arduous to inform this story and hopefully the viewers will adore it as a lot as we do.”
Jaane Jaan is produced by twelfth Road Leisure, Northern Lights Movies in affiliation with Kross Photos and Balaji Movement Photos.
It can premiere on Netflix on September 21.
