The trailer of Academy Award winner Roger Ross Williams’ upcoming movie Cassandro has been launched by the makers. Based mostly on a real story, the movie premieres on Prime Video on September 22.

An official synopsis reads, “Saúl Armendáriz, a homosexual beginner wrestler from El Paso, rises to worldwide stardom after he creates the character ‘Cassandro,’ the Liberace of Lucha Libre. Within the course of, he upends not simply the macho wrestling world, but in addition his personal life.”
